By avocation Dr. Peter Green is a systems theorist with an abiding interest in the interaction of technology, people, society and economics. He is currently very interested in applying AI to the rejuvenation of small manufacturing business in the USA and elsewhere, through and beyond the collapse of the American Empire.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems that he has worked on have ranged from early work on the Aegis AI system that helps protect US destroyers from missile attacks in the Persian Gulf to his latest project where his team uses AI to prevent counterfeit pharmaceuticals from finding their way into over a million or so doses being dispensed nationwide. For the past two decades his primary emphasis has been on using AI to improve the operating efficiency of industrial organizations as well as to help ensure the safety of our food supply chain.
Dr. Peter Green serves as the Technical Director of SmartOpsMgt SmartOpsMgt LLC and KnarrTek Inc. He led the development teams for the SmartOps24x7 software.
Dr. Green obtained his BSC (Hons) in Electrical Engineering and his Ph.D. Degrees in Electronics and Computer Science from Leeds University in England.
Subsequently Dr. Green was a senior member of technical staff at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Professor of Computer Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Over the years he has also been Technical Director of eight early stage companies, some successful, some not.
Dr. Green is a Systems Architect who is an expert in using real-time artificial intelligence methods to implementing real-time operations tracking and process flow management systems for industrial organizations. He has led the implementation of over 100 such systems over the past decade. .
Today, Dr. Green spends most of his professional time assisting manufacturing and industrial distribution organizations with the design of smart operations tracking and management systems to improve their efficiency, detect problems as they are occurring and improve customer satisfaction.
