SmartOpsMgt is a recent startup that is introducing a product line of internet of things (IOT) " real-time AI in a box" appliances that eliminate much of the "intellectual grunt work" that would otherwise be needed to track and manage operations in manufacturing and industrial distribution organizations.
We are looking for a senior entrepreneurial sales person with experience in selling barcode scanning and similar industrial equipment or selling inventory and job tracking systems to manufacturing organizations to join our startup team.
While the software in the IOT boxes has been proven in hundreds of manufacturing applications from tracking the manufacture of steel beams, to detecting counterfeit pharmaceuticals, to keeping our food supply safe we have yet to prove that we can sell this same AI software packaged in a plug-and-play IOT device. We are therefore conducting a trial in the New England area to convince investors that this is a sound approach to delivering this AI technology to the 90,000 small and mid-sized manufacturing plants in the USA.
As we are just getting started, this will initially be a commission only position, based on recurrent subscription fees received from customers. But, if successful, there will be the opportunity for participants in the trial to become full-time employees and be rewarded with significant equity participation in a company that has the potential to grow to over $100 million in annual sales, provided it can prove out its technology and attract the needed investment.
